Jeffrey M. Albert, PhD

Dr. Jeffrey M. Albert is a Sr. Statistical Consultant of XperStat. With a Ph.D. in Biostatistics from the University of Michigan, he specializes in designing and analyzing randomized clinical studies, causal inference (including mediation analysis), and longitudinal and clustered data analysis. Dr. Albert boasts rich collaborative research experience spanning cardiovascular disease, cancer, dental health, pediatrics, and neurology. His impactful contributions to methodological research, notably in statistical approaches for longitudinal data and causal mediation analysis, have garnered widespread recognition. As a Principal Investigator on NIH methodological research grants and a co-investigator on diverse health research projects, Dr. Albert demonstrates his commitment to advancing healthcare knowledge. He currently serves on multiple data and safety monitoring boards and holds the role of Associate Editor for Statistics in Medicine. Dr. Albert is also a Professor at Case Western Reserve University's School of Medicine.
