Sanjoy Sinha, PhD

​Dr. Sanjoy Sinha is the Senior Statistical Consultant at XpertStat and a Professor of Statistics at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. He holds M.Sc. (1997) and Ph.D. (2000) degrees in Statistics from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada. His research interests encompass Biostatistics, Longitudinal data analysis, Missing data analysis, Mixed models, Robust inference, and Survival analysis. With a wealth of experience in applied statistics, he specializes in areas such as longitudinal and survival data analysis, mixed models, semi-parametric regression, and robust statistics. Dr. Sinha is actively involved in methodological research within biostatistics, particularly in longitudinal and survival data analysis, as well as survey sampling, including small-area estimation. He not only leads independent research initiatives but also collaborates extensively with fellow researchers. Since 2002, his research has consistently received funding from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).
